Dr. Natalie DeWeese - Principal
It is with great enthusiasm that I share that I am starting my 23rd year serving in public education with this being my 9th year as the principal at Harvest Ridge. Prior to being a school administrator my time in education has included serving teachers as a literacy coach as well as teaching elementary students. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education with Reading Certification, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. During all of this time I spent six years serving on the Board of Education for the Wentzville School District.
In addition to my work as an educator I have been married to my husband Kyle DeWeese for sixteen years. Kyle has also spent his entire career in public education as a high school PE teacher and head boys basketball coach at Timberland High School in the Wentzville School District. I am the mom of two amazing boys, Brady (14) and Jaxon (12). When I am not at school you can easily find me on the sidelines of a ball field, basketball court, or aquatic center supporting my kids activities. As a family we love to travel, attend Cardinal games, and spend time with family and friends by our pool.
I believe the success of all of our students at Harvest Ridge is deeply rooted in the relationships and partnerships we can create with our families and with our students. I enjoy working with our entire community for the success of our students. I am looking forward to a great year at Harvest Ridge.
Nathan Mackiewicz - Assistant Principal
Being a Lifelong Learner" has long been one of my favorite sayings within the Francis Howell community. Though I didn’t attend this district as a student, I’ve seen firsthand through friends and family just how true this phrase is. I’ve been a part of the district for 14 years, starting as a student support staff member, then moving on to an assistant coordinator role in the Vacation Station program, and eventually spending 11 years teaching 4th and 5th grades. Now, as I embark on my second year as the Assistant Principal at Harvest Ridge Elementary School, I’m excited to continue embodying our mission alongside my dedicated staff, students, and their families.
Outside of my role at Harvest Ridge, you might find me around the St. Charles community. Whether I’m at the local pool, grocery store, or an athletic field with my wife and three wonderful children, I’m deeply rooted in this community. If you see me or my family out and about, please don’t hesitate to wave and say hello!
At Harvest Ridge Elementary, we’re more than just a school—we’re a true family. I firmly believe that through fostering positive relationships and connections among our students, staff, families, and the broader community, we can achieve great things together. I’m fortunate to have all three of my children attend Harvest Ridge and be part of this incredible journey. I take immense pride in our school and look forward to contributing to its ongoing success and commitment to "being a lifelong learner.
Courtney Conway - Assistant Principal
I am thrilled to join the Harvest Ridge family this school year as Assistant Principal! With this year being my 13th year in education, my background includes serving as a special education teacher with the Special School District, primarily in the Ladue School District. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to lead school-wide initiatives and facilitate both building and district-level professional development around restorative practices, building relationships, and social-emotional learning. I have earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Indiana University and my Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from Maryville University.
I am eager to connect with our families and community members. I firmly believe that teamwork is essential, and partnering with families is vital for each student’s success and well-being. I am deeply committed to creating an environment where every student, staff member, and family feels a true sense of belonging.
Outside of my time at Harvest Ridge, you can find me spending time with my husband, John, and our two children, James (7) and Declan (3). Our family enjoys attending one of James’ many sports events, playing at parks, taking our 3 dogs for walks, and simply spending quality time together. I also find joy in running, gardening and traveling.
I am truly honored to be a part of such a wonderful school community. I am looking forward to the start of this school year and all that we will accomplish together!
